A Day of Family, Fun & Connection at Horses4Heroes Ranch

At Heroes in the Rough, we believe some of the best moments happen when families can simply slow down, connect, and enjoy time together — and that’s exactly what happened at our recent Family BBQ Event at Horses4Heroes Ranch.

Families gathered for a beautiful day filled with laughter, great food, hands-on experiences, and unforgettable memories on the ranch. From the moment guests arrived, there was a sense of warmth and community that made the day feel truly special.

One of the highlights for many of the children was the opportunity to ride horses. Watching the kids light up with excitement as they interacted with the horses was a reminder of how meaningful these experiences can be. For some, it was their very first ride — and for others, it was a chance to build confidence and create lasting memories with family and friends by their side.

Guests also enjoyed a delicious BBQ meal while spending quality time together outdoors. Families were able to relax, connect with one another, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the ranch.

Throughout the day, attendees were given a tour of the farm where they met a variety of animals and learned more about life on the ranch. From curious goats to friendly farm animals, the tour brought smiles to both kids and adults alike.
